Defiant Hope: Create It. Live It. Share It.
What does hope sound like? What does justice look like? And what happens when young people use their creativity to encourage an entire community?
Defiant Hope is an interactive youth experience built around Hebrews 10:23–25 and the idea that hope is something we hold onto, protect, and build together—even when the world gives us reasons to give up.
This is a day to create, connect, and be heard. Youth will move through creative stations where they can make music, dance, write, act, create art, work with video and technology, and turn their own ideas about hope, joy, justice, peace, and love into something real.
By the end of the experience, the group will have created a youth-produced video and will choose songs for the official PSWR Defiant Hope Playlist to share with the wider church—and with adults who may need a little hope themselves.
So, come for music, food, snacks, games, art, comfortable spaces to hang out, a selfie/360-video area, and opportunities to meet people you might not already know.
Bring your creativity. Bring your questions. Bring your friends. Bring your hope.
